The short but violent flood at the beginning of August caused massive damage and considerable impairment in the Hotel Farbinger Hof. This affects not only the rooms in the new building and the hotel's technical systems, but also the entire catering area. Experts and appraisers from the insurance company discovered further damage, which ruined our plans for an early continuation of the business. Almost the entire ground floor currently resembles a large construction site, floors and walls have largely been dismantled for drying. Therefore it is unfortunately still not possible for us to lift the complete closure at the moment. The completion of the kitchen and restaurant is the prerequisite for the continuation of the hotel. A completion of the renovation work is currently not foreseeable.

The telephones in the hotel are manned, and our staff in the Frankfurt Service Center will be happy to provide you with further information on cancellations, rebooking and new reservations on 069 - 138 261 200. We will contact all guests with reservations by phone and inform them about the current status of the situation.

If your booking with prepayment is affected by the cancellation due to "force majeure", we will be happy to issue you an unlimited travel voucher for the payment made. At your special request and after separate notification of your bank details, we will of course transfer the prepayment to your account .

The clean-up and renovation work is already in full swing. So please be patient until we can make an exact statement as to when we can welcome you as guests again. We will inform you immediately when we can offer you our services again without restriction. We would really like to have given you more positive information and thank you for your understanding and forbearance.
